CRTU has been monitoring stream temperatures, often working with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on specific projects such as the 2025 Coon Creek Comprehensive Watershed study (that will be published this year). Understanding stream temperatures is an important part of the management of our trout streams. 
 
We currently have 6 loggers and have 10 we are purchasing Hobo Onset MX2201 temperature loggers this year. With shipping and fees, they were $90 a piece - the first two are paid for by Bryan (Trapper) Voldahl. Join Trapper and others in helping to sponsor temperature loggers so our chapter's funds can be extended to other education and conservation activities.
